The life of the candle: candles not go "bad" or lose the scent and / or color over time?
I ask because I have a collection huge sail as I am a big time bath and body, fragrances and demon. Anyway, if stored at room temperature in a closed container in the cabinet, which have a long shelf life? I have said in recent years candles like perfume, but just wanted to be sure that I know will be a good time before use to those who have recently received.
Perfume does not really last for years, unless it has never opened. Once opened, air enters and starts to corrode, so they have a nasty bitter kind of [like a cat urine] smell. I love candles and have many shapes and sizes, flavors and colors. how they never over time the unpleasant smell, but tend to fade in color and smell, if you leave the clear plastic cellophane in them should be held there the color and aroma, but over the years, unfortunately, lose some. I have a beautiful deep garnet color pink was my favorite candle, we had a heat wave a few weeks ago of 43 degrees for 6 consecutive days, anyway, I came home to find my beautiful rose candle had partially collapsed and molten .. Maintaining the collection .. Have fun ..
